This is Bill’s largest, and possibly, his most impressive. It is almost 5 feet long x 36 inches wide x 22 inches high and weighs almost 300 pounds. 

The Stagecoach is pulled by 6 horses and has the driver and shotgun man on top. Inside there is one man, a woman and small child. 3 Indians on horseback attacking the stage completes the piece.  

As with all of Bill’s bronzes, great viewing is provided from any angle. 

This bronze is currently on display at the Museum of Western Art in Kerrville, TX.

This bronze is an excellent piece for a larger display area. At about 19 inches tall (including base) and weighing about 30 pounds, it easily deserves it's own spotlight.

Sometimes a bronc would get  away from the cowboy, come through the middle of the camp and ruin the biskets!!

This series was a very popular bronze in the early 70's and qickly sold out.  This one is from an estate.

In order to have a chance at getting on the bronc, the cowboy pulls the head of the horse back towards him which limits the horse's ability to buck, for a moment, but also makes the horse go in a circle toward the cowboy, which allows him to get on.  Then he better hang on!

A quick dally around the horn is a good thing, but a loop around a tree stump can really be a problem!

A Dogie (pronounced with a long "O") is an orphan calf. A dogie has to make do as best he can getting milk from whatever momma cow will let him.  As you can see, he is not in nearly as good of shape as the momma's calf, but at least she is letting him eat.

This bronze was done for Hardin Simmons University in Abilene Texas. 

What a story this bonze tells!  Lunch provides a great opportunity for rest and conversation for this young couple to share their hopes and dreams.

There were a lot of tough men who made up the old west.  The lawman had to be at the top of that list to survive.

The need to communicate has always been with us.  The Indians were no different, so they created ways to communicate using mirrors.  This unique bronze has a silver inlay for the mirror.

Chief Joseph is perhaps the best known of this tribe who lived primarily in the northwestern part of the U.S.  They became fierce fighters trying to save their land from the white intruders.  After fighting 13 battles against about 2,000 soldiers which took them all the way to Canada, Chief Joseph surrendered in 1877.

Known as outstanding horsemen, they used Apolosa horses, whose hardiness enabled them to fight against such odds for so long. 

Just a little bit cold.  Many times it takes "warming up a bit" before even a pretty dependable horse is ready to go in the morning.

It is said that the 8 seconds on the back of a bronc is 8 of the longest seconds there are.  You have to ride the bronc that long to Qualify, then hope you have a good pick-up man.

This bronze was the cover of Western Horseman magazine in 1971.  A copy of that cover will accompany the bronze.

Love sometimes takes you into difficult circumstances.  A "Squaw Man" was a white man who chose to marry an Indian.  Neither were typically held in high regard by either race, yet this mountain man and his squaw wife courageously face life together.

This large, striking bronze shows a mother mountain sheep fighting off an attack on her baby by an eagle.  This piece weighs about 40 pounds and the eagle's wingspread is 18 inches.

The Texas Rangers have a long tradition of law enforcement unrivaled by any other group.  This bronze demonstrates that pride and uses the state of Texas map as its base.

Who would be crazy enough to mess with this bear's prey?  Obviously someone or something has made him rise up to defend his supper.  As mean as he looks, he has run into another who was also tough and lost a toe in the conflict.

This rather large bronze shows a Comanche Warrior in the middle of a fight and using his horse as a shield.

This dramatic bronze depicts the proud rememberances of the buffalo herds, hunting and freedom of the past, juxtaposed against his current life, being forced to farm for his livelihood.

Who would win a fight between a longhorn and a bear?  Many battles have been waged over time about turf and safety.  Here the longhorn gets in what could be a deadly blow to its foe.

The '73 Winchester was critical in "winning the west."  These guys are going to need all the help they can get as they have come under attack.

This buffalo bull stands alone.  At his feet is some of the equipment of a hunter who failed.  It will someday be his demise, but for now he is "The Winner."

A lot of things can spook a horse.  This one didn't respond well to a bright yellow rain slicker getting under him.

Even after having been ridden several times, a horse still may be a "Tricky Son of a Gun."  A cowboy always has to be alert as he never knows just how a horse will respond.  He evidently thought he could just put the saddle on the horse by himself, but obviously the horse had a different thought.

The Falcon is one of nature's most effective preditors capable of reaching 200 mph in a dive, making them the fastest creature on earth.  This exact replica shows the pride of this beautiful bird.
